FAQ

What made you start a blog?
I started a blog on the 22/02/15 because I am quite shy, and don't really feel comfortable making YouTube videos. I guess I just wanted to go into the 'World Of Blogging', and get involved writing about things I love.

Why did you call your blog 'The Blogging Box'?
When I wanted to start my blog, I just couldn't decide on a name. I was searching the internet for inspiration, and even used blog name generators. The thing that worked for me, though, was just brainstorming.
How can I come up with a name for my blog?
Maybe you could try a blog name generator, or what I find worked the best, was brainstorming. First I listed some words that that might be included in my blog, for example, 'beauty'. In this list, I also included what I might want in my blog name, eg, 'blog'. Then I listed my audience type, and then what I wanted readers to get out of my blog as well as what I wanted it to be like. After this, I had a play around with these words and tried putting some together. The possibilities are endless.

How do you get people to read and follow your blog?
If you are putting the effort in, people will find you. Fortunately, I have an Adviser with this topic. Also, try leaving nice comments on people's blog's, but DO NOT be one of those people who comments "Nice!" and then a link to your blog, or "Check out my blog!" followed by a link, as I, personally, are 99.9% less likely to click on the link, and will probably just ignore them.

What do you use to read blogs?
I read blogs on Bloglovin' to read blogs, or sometimes I just go on my instagram account, search the  #beautyblogger or #beautyblog and find people on there. It's always a good idea to build good relationships with people.

Why are you Anonymous?
I am an 'Anonymous Blogger' mainly because I don't want people from my school, or anybody I know, knowing that this is me. Also it adds a bit of mystery to my blog, as nobody knows exactly who is writing it! By the way, I'm not ashamed of this blog,it is just that people may not be as supportive as I hope. Maybe one day....
